Fees

My fee per session is $200 for a 50 minute session. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card. Our initial 15-minute consultation is free.

Cancellation Policy

I ask for a minimum of 48-hours advance notice when you know you will miss or need to reschedule an appointment. I charge the full fee if you provide less than 48 hours notice. Insurance generally does not reimburse for missed sessions, so clients using their insurance will be required to pay for sessions cancelled without sufficient notice.

Insurance

I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I can provide you with appropriate paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider in accordance with your particular plan. You may wish to consult your plan benefits in advance to determine what portion of your therapy may be covered.

Good Faith Estimate

As of January 1, 2022, The No Surprises Act (H.R. 133) is in effect.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
